Carolina Beach Restaurants

The Carolina Beach area offers a multitude of different restaurants for locals and visitors alike to enjoy. If you’re looking for food that’s unique to the area, look no farther than Carolina Beach restaurants. Find everything from quick and easy on-the-go meals, to upscale restaurants that require a reservation. There is a restaurant for every event and every mood. Here are some of our favorites!

Michael’s Seafood: Michael’s may be one of the more famous restaurants to the area. From their award winning Seafood Chowder (that can even be found in local grocery stores in the area), to their array of seafood items, to delicious burgers and sandwiches there’s something for everyone at Michael’s. Open from 11am – 9pm or 10pm depending on the season, this spot is sure to please.

Shuckin’ Shack: Shuckin’ Shack has a few locations spread around the NC area but the food is hard to beat. When looking for delicious seafood including oysters (if in season), roasts, steam-pots, or low country boils, this is the place you want to be. Open from 11am to 12am or 2am, Shuckin’ Shack offers great late night eating as well.

Havana’s: Havana’s is almost 100 years old and offers you the type of location that provides comfort and beach dining. From a lunch to dinner menu and children’s menu as well, Havana’s offers the best in Carolina Beach eating. Open from 11:30am-9:30pm on weeknights and 10:30pm on weekends and 9pm Sundays.

Cape Fear Boil Company: The Cape Fear Boil Company is the best for catering or to go boils. Enjoy a huge family/friend meal at your rental location or on the beach, by digging into one of the best steam pots in the area. From shrimp to lobster boils and everything in between – these pots are jam packed with seafood, corn, potatoes, and sausage. Not a fan of seafood? Not a big deal, there are even Carolina BBQ options. Open 11am-9pm, 7 days a week (*subject to season), be sure to call ahead and book your meal today.

Britt’s Donuts: Open since 1939, Britt’s has been on the Carolina Beach boardwalk creating the best hot, homemade donuts you’ll ever eat. The recipe is a secret but the thousands of visitors to Britt’s every year will talk about their donut experience for the rest of their trip. Britt’s a seasonally open shop, and announces their open date every year. Typically it’s open mid-April to October and it is cash only. Make sure you get to Britt’s early before they run out!

Granny’s Country Kitchen: Granny’s is open 7 days a week from 6am to 2pm serving breakfast all day. Get there early and be sure to try the shrimp and grits or the fried green tomatoes that will leave you and your belly happy.
