Kure Beach has a Holiday Market starting Saturday before and after Thanksgiving (November 21 and November 28, 2020) You can get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping supporting local artisans and enjoying beautiful ocean views. Also there will be plenty of local food trucks to choose from ! With over 30 vendors , you will be sure to find a unique gift for everyone on your shopping list.
Christmas by the Sea
Enjoy Christmas by the Sea as the Town of Carolina Beach becomes an island of lights with homes and businesses at their festive finest to get you in the holiday spirit.
Christmas by the Sea is an event which is organized by the Carolina Beach Downtown Initiative Volunteers of Carolina Beach, NC. The Christmas by the Sea event will take place from November 25th to Christmas. The boardwalk will be decorated and lit up each and every night throughout the Holiday season starting with the lighting ceremony on November 25th at 7:30pm, proceeding the Island of Lights : Lighting at the Lake Ceremony.”
Free Drive In Concert Series
Covid rules DID NOT ruin this event! If you missed the concert series in the summer, you are in luck! Covid rules now allow us to schedule FREE CONCERTS previously canceled during the summer of 2020. The next event is scheduled for November 20 with the Polar Bear Blues Band, where you can listen to a powerful rhythm and blues band! The concert is from 6:30 to 8:30pm. They open the gates up at 5:30 so you can start lining your cars in and start thinking about the refreshments being served!
Beer, Soda and Water will be available for sale on site by the Base. We also will have offerings from Carolina Beach’s Nauti Dogs and Icey delites from KONA ICE..
Sound will be broadcast through your radios in your car as well as rolling down your windows. You can set up chairs adjacent to your car, but please understand that we will enforce 6′-0″ distancing. Regular attendance will be limited and they do fill up fast! Come enjoy the live music with your family!
